As
day breaks, we search snow covered logging roads for a bobcat
track left during the nght. Once located, the dogs set out to
trail the cat. After the cat has been jumped, we head into
the
woods to intercept it on its run through the many swamps and softwood
thickets. Dogs may catch and bay a cat or sometimes tree one.
A shotgun with T-load, #4 Buck, BB, or #2 shot is recommended for this
hunt.
