BEAR HUNTING WITH HOUNDS

Early morning finds us searching for a bear track. Once a track is found, hounds will be released to trail, chase, and fight the bear. Most bears will “tree”, but some may “bay up,” and others go to a cave. Once the dogs catch the bear, we will make our way to the sound of the frenzied hounds. Dogs will be leashed back to protect them as you are positioned for a clean shot. Maine black bear hunting with hounds is for the hunter seeking a pure adrenaline rush.
